Privacy Policy

Dart Circle ("the App") is developed and operated by Wes Dorman ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

We use Sign in with Apple as the sole authentication method. When you sign in, we receive your Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address. We do not collect your Apple ID password.

Profile Information

You may choose a display name and optionally provide a city-level location. This information is entered by you and is not automatically detected.

Game Data

We store match scores, dart throw events, and game history to provide stats tracking, leaderboards, and match history features.

Push Notification Tokens

If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to deliver notifications such as game invites and friend requests.

2. Voice Input

The App offers hands-free scoring via on-device speech recognition powered by WhisperKit. Audio is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and maintain your account
  • To record and display game scores, stats, and leaderboard rankings
  • To deliver push notifications you have opted into
  • To display your profile to other players during multiplayer games

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. We apply reasonable security measures to protect your data.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The App contains no ads. The only third-party services are:

  • Apple Sign-In — for authentication
  • Supabase — for backend data storage and real-time features
  • Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — for push notifications

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your display name, optional city, and game stats may be visible to other users within the App as part of leaderboards and multiplayer features.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at chutapps@gmail.com. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your data within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
